Safety for our employees is of the greatest concern to us at Sino Resources Mining Corporation.
Our employees are our greatest asset, since without them we would not be able to produce the sapphires we do. At each level of our company we pride our ourselves with our safety culture and promote this with our suppliers and 3rd party vendors.
One of our key action areas is mine safety and road safety and health. We provide all workers with regular training for mine safety and road safety. With the local communities where we work we promote HIV awareness.
Main actions developed to ensure mine safety and road safety and health:
- Regular 3rd party training of all employees on mine safety
- Road safety drivers program conducted by external providers
- HIV awareness program conducted in collaboration with the Red Cross
